How to use this web site

Find a Grave

To access our Find a Grave images of Monumental Headstones select ‘findagrave'.

This will bring up all images held of Monumental Headstones. You can filter your search by selecting the hypertext index links on the right hand of the page or here.

Filter by selecting Region, Town/Village -Cemetery Name / Surname .

For example; Lancashire-the north, Bell.

Not sure of the region or year - just select surname from the list to the right.

Alternatively find a grave can be accessed by any of the headers on the home page and then selecting from the hypertext index links on the right hand of the page.

All Find a Grave items also carry the heading ‘Find a Grave'

Please note that not all images in cemetery are included in the selection. There may be a number of reasons for this.  Cemetery Photography can also be commissioned by contacting me.

It is also important to note that Monumental Headstones are difficult to photograph and the clarity of text on the stone cannot be guaranteed. Generally if the headstone cannot be read, I do not photograph it.

Latest Information

Latest Information can be searched in the same way as find a grave; the main areas to filter are Latest Information, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Lancashire and the North, London and the South , and Overseas.

All of those headings can be accessed from the top of the page and also by selecting from the hypertext index links on the right of any filtered page.

Additional filters will be applied as the web site is developed. For example; Documents and Occupations.
